The US Government recommends the virtual education of the Renfort Personalized School.
Some days ago, we received amazing news: the Education Department of the United States has recommended the Personalized Renfort School to those families who are looking for a virtual education or want to start education at home through homeschooling. We feel surprised but also excited and we want to share how we ended up appearing in the Education Department of the United Stated web page.
Renfort has been offering personalized and virtual education for more than 13 years. During all this time we have improved our educational approach, using an innovative pedagogy that provides an alternative and significant learning experience.
The American families who arrived in Colombia got impressed because of the personalized attention we give to each student. We assign a teacher to each girl or boy in their houses, who guides them through their educational path and who supports them with their curriculum. The contents are created in english or in spanish, depending whether they choose to follow the colombian or other countries guidelines. We got excited when we discovered that, through our ESCOLE Pedagogy, the American families have recommended us and, this recommendation ended up at the American Embassy and they decided to visit our installations. Subsequently, we were invited to meet with representatives of the Government and the Education Department of the United States, in an interview that filled us with excitement, nervousness, anxiety and joy. They described us as a “little wonderful school”, can you believe it?
From Math and science to arts and humanities, our pedagogical approach allows kids and teenagers to be able to learn at their own rhythm, delve into topics they feel interested in and to take the necessary time to understand the hardest topics. After all of these effortful years, the foreign families who search for an educational alternative and see homeschooling as an option closer to their parenting guidelines have recognized our work.
We thank the families who have trusted and who have given us the opportunity to develop a learning platform online that allows students to interact with their teachers and classmates during a real time class. Owing to that we have been able to connect kids from China to Argentina. It has been such a learning experience full of challenges, didactic, technological, pedagogical and psychological bets that families have accompanied on their evolution.
