With the participation of outstanding women in various STEM fields, the event provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, showing participants the exciting opportunities that await in these fields.

At Renfort, we recognize the importance of encouraging the active participation of girls in STEM careers. Gender equality is a fundamental principle that guides our proprietary pedagogy, Escole®. We believe that by encouraging our students to explore STEM disciplines, we not only combat the gender gap but also contribute to the enrichment of society as a whole.

The Importance of STEM Careers for Girls

1. Gender equality: Promoting women’s participation in STEM careers is essential to address gender inequality and ensure equal opportunities in the workplace, to narrow the wage inequality gap. STEM careers offer high labor demand and competitive salaries, contributing to women’s economic independence.

Participating in these spaces inspires and mobilizes us to generate concrete actions to encourage the participation of girls and young women in STEM, building a future where gender equality in these disciplines is the norm, not the exception.

At Renfort Personalized School, we are strongly dedicated to promoting gender equality and supporting education in STEM disciplines. It is critical to note that our approach in the STEM lab has evolved into a new paradigm that encompasses subjects that encompass the study of the exact sciences, such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science. This innovative approach is called MEC, which stands for Modeling, Experimentation, and Testing.

With MEC, we seek to fully integrate the shared elements among these areas, providing our seeds (our students) with holistic knowledge rooted in contexts linked to reality. Our essential purpose lies in structuring logical thinking from the modeling of learning, encouraging inquiry through experimentation, and, therefore, culminating in the review to verify the phenomena of the environment. This approach strengthens the development of essential skills by linking each stage of the educational process with the practical application of knowledge.

This change in our methodology reflects our ongoing commitment to STEM education that transcends traditional boundaries, empowering our students to meet the current and future challenges of an ever-evolving world.
